What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Hands-on experience with AutoSys as distributed systems (abended jobs, check dependencies, calendars, alarms), Hands-on Experience with Jobtrac as mainframe systems (job flows, abended jobs, reruns, restarts, scheduling rules), Monitor batch job execution across., Execute UNIX/Linux command-line operations (e. g. , ls, grep, ps, chmod, vi)., Understand Windows batch job execution (Task Scheduler, basic scripting)., Apply mainframe knowledge (z/OS, JCL, SDSF) to monitor, troubleshoot, and support batch operations., Follow operational procedures within a 24×7 environment, including incident handling and escalation., understanding of job control, batch execution, and operational dependencies., Mainframe operational expertise in z/OS, JCL, SDSF, and batch monitoring., Familiarity with ITIL-aligned processes for Incident and Change Management., Advanced and fluent English (verbal and written), required for frequent interaction with US-based clients., Excellent communication skills to articulate technical information clearly., emotional intelligence to handle fast-paced, high-pressure transitions., Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively., Process-oriented mindset with adherence to operational procedures and continuous improvement initiatives., Available for 1st and 2nd shift

Perform job submission

Troubleshoot and recover abended jobs ensuring minimal business impact.
Analyze and manage upstream and downstream job dependencies to maintain cycle integrity.
Supervise and control intricate networks and applications.
Operate distributed systems in a multi-vendor environment.
Perform batch operations as per service agreements.
Analyze first-level issues across systems.
Resolve/routing issues as appropriate.
Develop support system management processes specific to customer requirements.
