Prepare prescriptions for dispensing

We are seeking a Medication Mixing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help support our mission by ensuring high-quality execution of daily responsibilities, maintaining accuracy, and contributing to a collaborative environment focused on patient care and continuous improvement. The Basics Location: Bakersfield, CA (Onsite) Job Type: Full Time Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Compensation: $23.00/hour Benefits: Eligible How You’ll Make an Impact Prepares prescriptions for dispensing by the pharmacist and fills stock replacements. Makes requisitions for drugs and supplies with professional guidance from the pharmacist. Orders, receives, and maintains inventory of drugs and chemicals, and ensures their security. Helps maintain an orderly, clean environment including cleanliness of pharmacy stock and supplies. Enters data into the computer system, recording prescriptions, purchase orders, stock orders, requisitions, and disbursements. Under direction of pharmacist, removes unneeded or outdated drugs from stock and prepares for return or disposal. Performs general clerical duties for the department. What We’re Looking For High School Diploma or GED California State Pharmacy Technician License Required Experience in manufacturing, production, or compounding preferred Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to follow formulas, procedures, and batch instructions Comfortable working with chemicals used in compounding Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to stay focused in a production environment Positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and work in a lab/production setting
