## ## **Company** ALPINE RACING LIMITED ## ## **Job Description** At Alpine Formula One Team, we have an opportunity to join our well-established Composites department as a Composite Technician – Assembly on a Fixed Term Contract working on our nightshift. **Composite Technician (Assembly) - The Role** To carry out the precise trimming, assembly, and finishing of composite components to meet high standards of quality, safety, and production efficiency. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment. **_Key Responsibilities:_** * Trim composite components using hand tools, air tools, and templates to meet tight tolerances. * Assemble composite parts using bonding techniques, adhesives, and mechanical fasteners. * Interpret and follow technical drawings, lay-up schedules, and work instructions. * Conduct surface preparation, sanding, deburring, and finishing operations. * Perform visual inspections and report any defects or non-conformances. * Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. * Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. * Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area. **_Person Specification_** **Essential:** * Proven experience in a similar composites trim and assembly role. * High level of skill in using hand and power tools for precision work. * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. * Flexible and positive approach to achieving team and production targets. * Ability to work effectively as part of a wider team across different shifts. * Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working area. * Organised and self-motivated with a proactive attitude. **Desirable:** * Experience in motorsport, aerospace, or high-perfo
