If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary. ## Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Component Engineer** located in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site**.** Reporting to the **Senior Director, Design and Engineering****,** this role involves component selection recommendation, key component tech tracking, PSL maintenance, component spec definition, component qualification, failure analysis, etc. **What a typical day looks like:** * Specializes in the selection, evaluation and part level testing of mechanical components (FAN, Relay) used in product design and manufacturing. * Ensure components meet technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. * Develop and maintain Flex component roadmap * Work with R&D to drive suppliers next generation requirements, component alternate selection and component qualification (internal/external lab) * Review supplier test and validation reports * Follow up on component related issues, FA and requalification * Provide technical support to advanced sourcing * Work with advanced sourcing in managing lifecycle issues and sourcing strategies, PPL, AVL, EOL, alternate, new supplier and new component qualification **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical engineering or relevant technical experience. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in component engineering or technical sourcing similar role in power supply industry * Understanding of commonly used topology in power supply component industry * Strong
