What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent, 4 to 6 years of experience, Solid hands-on working experience in handling Mechanical Hardware (Screws, Nuts, Fasteners, etc. ), Thermals, Mechanical Fabricated Items (Machined systems, Sheet metals), Packaging (Shipping Product packaging), understanding of Mechanical Material properties, Familiarization in manufacturing fabrication process and key attributes, Experience in alternate source identification and Form Fit Function Comparison preparation, understanding of Component Supplier PCN handling and hands-on involvement in PCN process, Experience in performing engineering analysis of defective product units or sub- evaluates results of customer feedback and manufacturing, test, and quality assurance processes for product to identify supplier quality issues, fundamentals in Computer Operation (Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Word, etc), Very good team player with can-do, sincere attitude, ready to partner with Juniper for longer term
Nice to Have
Using empirical analysis, modelling and testing methodologies to validate product designs and specifications will be an added advantage, Basic knowledge / experience in Semiconductor devices is desired, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills

Contributing to selection and qualification of components
Ensuring components meet HPE Juniper Product expectations with respect to Quality & Reliability
Introducing new components
Qualifying and managing changes on components
Support resource to Juniper New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
Creating Juniper Part Number (JPN)
Onboarding Manufacturers to JPN through Agile PLM system on Mechanical Components
Work on Component Qualification Report/FAIR review
Work on analyzing and processing Product Change/Discontinuance Notification received from Component Manufacturers
Identifying alternate manufacturers with Fit
Form and Function analysis
Manage product level Component qualification process
