Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 1+ years of related OR Masters degree in OR JD/PhD in Engineering, US Citizen

## **Job Description** **Job Title:** Component Design Engineer - LW Survivability Technologies **Working Pattern:** Full time **Working location:** Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid/3 days on-site on avg) We have an exciting opportunity for a Component Design Engineer to join the team in Indianapolis. The Component Design Engineer is part of the Global Mechanical Systems Capability function. The Component Design Engineer shall create engineering solutions that satisfy functional and physical requirements symptomatic of Product System and Sub-System level environments. Crucially, the engineered solutions must exhibit robustness for manufacturing capability. The Component Design Engineer is responsible for the on-time delivery and quality of component design definition artefacts i.e. documents, models, definitions that meet system level and sub-system requirements. The Component Design Engineer will participate within an IPT described by Product Lifecycle System (PLS) and operate in accordance with applicable Rolls-Royce Management System (RRMS) policies and processes.
