Must Have
Master's degree in Engineering or Bachelors plus relevant work experience, Registered Chartered Engineer (with UK Engineer Council or international equivalent) or working towards registration, Technical knowledge in mechanical design methodologies, Understanding of cross-discipline engineering concepts, Ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking, Good communication and presentation skills, Experience working with large multi-disciplinary teams, Broad and practical understanding of the design and manufacturing methods for components used within a gas turbine engine, Experience in using Siemens NX (or equivalent CAD software), Experience in using Teamcenter or other Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) suites, Security Check clearance, UK national or dual national

## **Job Description** **Job Title:** Component Design Engineer **Working Pattern:** Days **Working location:** Bristol/Hybrid _(minimum 3 Days in the office)_ An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Design Engineer to join our team in Rolls-Royce. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design of a variety of components and assemblies across a range of sub-systems. Duties can extend to supporting broader activities such as understanding in-service operation, testing and verification programmes, technology development activities, and development of tools and methods, to name but a few.
