5-7 years of compliance, risk, controls testing, or second line oversight experience within regulated financial services, fintech, banking, lending, or payments environments Strong experience executing compliance testing programs (TILA, UDAAP, FCRA, etc.), evaluating control effectiveness, and identifying regulatory and operational risk gaps Remote-first opportunity for US-based employees with the option to work in-person out of our Manhattan office Start your adventure with Zip Zip is looking for a Compliance & Risk Testing Manager to join our Compliance & Risk organization and help strengthen our second line oversight capabilities across our bank partner compliance programs and internal control environment. This role will play a critical part in assessing the effectiveness of controls, identifying gaps and emerging risks, and helping drive a strong culture of compliance and accountability across the business. You will partner closely with Compliance, Risk, Product, Operations, Legal, and business stakeholders to execute testing activities that evaluate adherence to regulatory obligations, bank partner requirements, and internal policies and procedures. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced and highly regulated environments, has strong analytical and investigative capabilities, and brings a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement and scalable risk management practices.
