What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, social sciences, information systems, law, or a related field, 4 years of progressively responsible experience performing compliance analysis, audit support, program evaluation, data analysis, policy interpretation, or similar work in a regulatory, compliance, higher education, public sector, or complex organizational environment, Demonstrated experience analyzing data, evaluating processes, and preparing reports, summaries, or recommendations for leadership or stakeholders, Experience managing multiple projects or operational workflows with competing deadlines, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable guidance for diverse audiences, Ability to analyze complex data and operational challenges, apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and make informed, independent professional judgments, Experience working with a variety of stakeholders and maintaining effective working relationships in a cross functional environment
Nice to Have
Experience in compliance, civil rights, ADA/accessibility, investigations, internal audit, program evaluation, or risk management, Experience in higher education, public institutions, or highly regulated environments, Experience developing dashboards, performance metrics, or data driven reports, Familiarity with records management, documentation standards, or audit readiness practices, Demonstrated experience supporting governance groups, committees, or cross campus workgroups, Experience with database systems, case management systems, or compliance tracking platforms, Training, certification, or coursework in compliance, auditing, accessibility, or related areas (e. g. , CCEP, Certified Internal Auditor, ADA Coordinator Training Certification Program)

**Job Description** **The Civil Rights Compliance Office has an outstanding opportunity for a** **Compliance Project Manager******(** 12 month project) to join their team.** Compliance and Risk Services (CRS) serves the University, its mission, and its community by providing enterprise-wide leadership and professional expertise and services relating to key compliance areas and risk management. The Civil Rights Compliance Office within CRS is responsible for compliance with civil rights laws and University policy. Federal and state laws collectively prohibit discrimination based on protected characteristics, including age, citizenship, disability, national origin or shared ancestry, race, sex, gender, veteran status, and more. The Compliance Project Manager provides advanced, non-routine compliance analysis and operational leadership for the Civil Rights Compliance Office (CRC). The position independently plans, conducts, and evaluates complex compliance reviews, audits, and program assessments that shape CRC’s compliance strategy, strengthen institutional controls, and improve operational outcomes. The Analyst conducts data and process analyses; develops dashboards, performance metrics, and public facing compliance reports; and delivers consultative, decision ready recommendations that inform CRC leadership’s priorities, resource allocation, daily operations, and long-range planning.
