What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, AML/ATF compliance, financial services regulation, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) / AML regulations (United States), PCMLTFA and FINTRAC requirements (Canada), Retail Payment Activities Act (RPAA) and payment regulatory frameworks, Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills, English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
Experience working within payments, fintech, banking, or regulated financial services environments, Experience interacting with financial regulators, auditors, or banking partners, French (written and spoken)
What You'll Do.
Support oversight of AML/ATF compliance program
Serve as BSA/AML Compliance Officer
Serve as Senior Officer for AML compliance
Serve as Senior Officer for RPAA compliance
Support regulatory engagement
Assist with oversight of suspicious activity reporting
Support development of compliance reporting
Assist with oversight of compliance risk assessments
Coordinate with internal teams
Monitor regulatory developments
Support training and awareness initiatives
Lead and supervise AML operations team
Provide direction to AML compliance team
Ensure appropriate staffing and training
Review and approve escalations
Perform other compliance duties
