Work performed in office and manufacturing environments, Movement between production areas and administrative spaces, Frequent interaction with production equipment, Adherence to PPE and safety protocols, Standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs/ladders during audits/inspections, Occasional lifting up to 50lbs, Regular use of computers, QMS, measurement devices, Exposure to manufacturing conditions (noise, dust, fumes, oils, chemicals), Flexibility to support shift coverage, overtime, off-hours audits, Up to 10% travel required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Electrical Engineering Degree, or Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Degree, Minimum of 7 years-experience in Electrical (Transformers)/Automotive/A&D manufacturing environment, Leadership ability to act as a facilitator and trainer in on-the-floor environment, Good computer skills with experience in Excel and Word, Knowledge of the product and plant operations, Knowledge of ISO 9000 series standards, Knowledge of regulatory (IEEE/ANSI & CSA Standards) and customer specifications, communication and presentation skills (customer-facing), Analytical mindset with attention to detail, Ability to work cross-functionally and under pressure in a fast-paced environment, Problem-solving and continuous improvement orientation, knowledge of root cause analysis tools (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) and corrective action systems (CAPA, CAR), Experience in supplier quality management, incoming inspection standards, and SCAR processes, Skilled in data analysis, performance metrics reporting, and quality dashboard development, Familiarity with internal auditing, QMS documentation, and compliance management
Nice to Have
Knowledge of LEAN concepts is considered an asset, Experience in Industrious considered an asset

Lead Quality Assurance function

Collaborate with quality engineers
Achieve zero-defect manufacturing
Maintain ISO compliance
Support internal/external audits
Monitor processes/measurement devices
Validate first article inspections
Conduct process audits
Lead structured problem-solving methods
Support corrective/preventive actions
Act as customer quality contact
Manage supplier quality performance
Track/report PPM metrics
Prepare quality reports
Maintain calibration records
Manage QMS document information
Ensure traceability/documentation
