**Job Title** Compliance Manager **Agency** Texas A&M University - Central Texas **Department** President's Office **Proposed Minimum Salary** $4,618.00 monthly **Job Location** Killeen, Texas **Job Type** Staff **Job Description** The Compliance Manager, under direction of Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer, manages the Compliance department and provides oversight, leadership, and coordination regarding the University’s compliance efforts with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and related requirements, guidance and a campus culture that supports a safe and respectful academic, working, and living environment. **A Presidential Proclamation issued on September 19, 2025, imposes a $100,000 fee on all new H‑1B petitions filed after September 21, 2025, and Texas A &M University–Central Texas will not pay this fee. Additionally, a moratorium issued by Governor Abbott on January 27, 2026, restricts the filing of new H‑1B petitions unless approved by the Texas Workforce Commission. Accordingly, if you will now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status this moratorium may affect our ability to employ you should you be selected as the final candidate. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer.** **Essential Duties and R esponsibilities** * Leads the university’s Title IX and Civil Rights compliance efforts, including coordination of deputy and campus coordinators. Coordinate responses to the Title IX/Civil Rights complaints filed by students, faculty, staff, and third parties.
