Must Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience, 1-3 years related experience in customs compliance operations, Understanding of international trade and customs regulations, Knowledge of international air, and ocean transport logistics processes, Excellent customer service skills, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Time management skills, Resource management skills, Attention to detail, Persuasion skills
Nice to Have
Import or export operations experience preferred, Customs Brokerage License preferred, IATA/FIATA preferred
What You'll Do.
Build customer relationship
Provide excellent customer service
Identify and address issues
Monitor and manage ticketing system
Resolve customs compliance requests quickly
Monitor compliance at all times
Ensure 100% adherence to laws
Verify and review shipping documents
Review commercial invoices
Complete customs exceptions tasks
Facilitate information gathering
Evaluate import and export restrictions
Evaluate customs compliance regulatory requirements
Proactively further regional matter expertise
Communicate with teams
Advise customers on import and export restrictions
Advise customers on customs related matters
Track daily operational metrics
Escalate issues quickly
Keep management up-to-date
Identify gaps in current processes
Suggest opportunities for improvement
Keep up to date on regulatory requirements
Apply new knowledge to improve processes
Support execution of projects
Drive assigned projects
Execute assigned projects
Support implementation of new business initiatives
Own documentation of project issues
Send follow-up on action items
