Sound Compliance knowledge with an understanding of the Building Safety Act, Building Regulations, British Standards and Industry best practice, Experience in a similar role required, You will require applicable legislation knowledge, have hands on experience, and you will be confident liaising with site teams and clients., Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Nice to Have
Membership of a professional body, minimum IOSH Managing Safely, Proven track record of successfully maintaining compliance management systems.
What You'll Do.
Overseeing and maintaining a safe and compliant working environment across various sites within REM portfolio.
Monitor and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws
and industry standards within the building services industry.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of our facilities
Logbooks and operations to identify any compliance gaps or areas for improvement.
Support site teams in a “lead from the front” approach to closing out of compliance gaps/findings.
Provide guidance to employees on completion of Logbooks.
Prepare and submit reports to Compliance Manager on compliance activities
Act as the point of contact for any compliance-related inquiries
Understanding requirements or actions relating to Building Safety Act.

The Compliance Advisor will assist for overseeing and maintaining a safe and compliant working environment across various sites within REM portfolio. The successful candidate will be from a statutory compliance background with industry experience to be able to support the requirements of the role. They will have strong knowledge of compliance standards, industry best practices and building safety requirements.
