What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, 7+ years of progressive experience in compensation and/or benefits administration, Demonstrated experience supporting multi-country programs in the Americas, Direct hands-on experience administering benefits programs in the US, Working knowledge of US benefits regulatory requirements (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA)
Nice to Have
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification preferred, CBP (Certified Benefits Professional) certification preferred, PHR/SPHR certification preferred, Direct hands-on experience administering benefits programs in Canada, Direct hands-on experience administering benefits programs in Mexico, Working knowledge of Canadian provincial benefits, Familiarity with IMSS/AFORE structures in Mexico, Experience supporting annual merit/compensation planning cycles, Experience with system-based compensation planning tools, Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, Bilingual proficiency in English and French (Canadian), Exposure to equity compensation programs, Experience in a public or PE-backed company context
What You'll Do.
Manage end-to-end administration of employee benefits programs
Serve as primary liaison with benefits carriers
Respond to escalated employee and HRBP inquiries regarding
Partner with Finance and Payroll for benefits deductions
Maintain benefits plan documentation and regulatory filings
Lead annual open enrollment process
Evaluate plan design options
Configure enrollment events and eligibility rules
Develop and deliver enrollment communications
Conduct post-enrollment audits
Support annual merit and compensation planning cycle
Serve as resource for HRBPs during compensation planning
Partner with HRBPs on off-cycle compensation actions
Support administration of short-term incentive programs
Act as dedicated compensation and benefits resource for
Advise HRBPs on total rewards implications
Participate in HR operations meetings
Identify trends and recommend program improvements
Ensure programs comply with federal
Monitor legislative and regulatory changes
Support internal and external audits
