What They're Looking For.

Must Have

experience managing Class A lease-up properties, Minimum of two years of property management experience required, Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and property management software, problem-solving, leadership, and customer service skills, Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and neutrality in all interactions, Knowledge of California landlord-tenant laws, Fair Housing policies, and basic accounting principles

Nice to Have

A college degree or related coursework is preferred

What You'll Do.

responsible for all phases of the operations of an income-producing property

community maintenance

monitoring market conditions

Provide clear guidance and tools for the team

Address and resolve employee and operational concerns

Develop a cohesive on-site team

Conduct regular inspections of common areas

Enforce move-in/move-out protocols

Ensure timely submission of payroll

maintain accurate records

Oversee rent collection and manage delinquent accounts

Complete daily bank deposits

Maintain compliance with accounting procedures

recommend cost-effective improvements

Promote available units through approved advertising platforms and in-person showings

Maintain accurate leasing records

Analyze market trends to adjust pricing and marketing strategies

Support resident retention efforts

Respond to resident concerns with professionalism

and adherence to Fair Housing laws

Ensure all resident service requests are resolved within 24–48 hours

Ensure adherence to applicable California laws

Regularly review and update policies and procedures
