What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum of two years of property management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and property management software, problem-solving, leadership, and customer service skills, Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and neutrality in all interactions, Knowledge of State landlord-tenant laws, Fair Housing policies, and basic accounting principles

Nice to Have

a college degree or related coursework is preferred

Responsible for all operational aspects of an income-producing property

Ensure community maintenance

Ensure compliance with State and federal laws

Manage fiscal responsibility

Manage resident relations

Develop a cohesive on-site team

Conduct regular inspections

Enforce move-in/move-out protocols

Ensure timely submission of payroll

Maintain accurate records

Oversee rent collection

Manage delinquent accounts

Complete daily bank deposits

Maintain compliance with accounting procedures

Recommend cost-effective improvements

Promote available units

Maintain accurate leasing records

Analyze market trends

Support resident retention efforts

Evaluate on-site staff

Foster a supportive work environment

Provide clear guidance and tools

Address employee concerns

Resolve operational concerns

Respond to resident concerns

Ensure resident service requests are resolved
