Eligibility Requirements

Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle is required, Ability to maintain a professional demeanor, attire and personal presentation when interacting with persons served and their families, Must be at least 18 years old, Able to attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training

Must Have

Employees must be at least 18 years of age per Oregon State Rules, Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle is required for the Community Living Support Program, Ability to maintain a professional demeanor, attire and personal presentation when interacting with persons served and their families, Must be at least 18 years old, Must be able to provide references, Able to attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training

Nice to Have

Prefer personal or professional experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities. OR experience in front-facing customer service role and a true passion for helping vulnerable populations, Prefer personal or professional experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities. What You'll Do.

providing 1: 1 support in individuals homes

help individuals stay active and engaged by providing transportation to fun community events

and other outings / errands

assist with a variety of household duties including cleaning

budgeting and establishing routines

help the person served with living independently and day-to-day routines

Enrich and support the lives of the persons served while maintaining a safe and healthy environment

Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care

Assist with activities of daily living

including community-based supports

Implement positive behavior supports and de-escalate challenging behaviors when needed

Duties may periodically include personal care assistance and support with prescribed medications

Other duties as assigned
