The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Coordinator is responsible for the performance of all projects and activities related to County CERT, including program coordination, teaching/presenting, as well as supporting other community outreach programs. These duties will be coordinated with the Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator and conducted in accordance with County and departmental policy The CERT Coordinator is also responsible for participation in regional activities as assigned. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Responsible for the development and implementation of effective community preparedness programs and training for Fort Bend County and Houston UASI region. * Provides management, leadership, and program implementation of the Fort Bend County CERT program in collaboration with the Houston UASI Regional Community Preparedness Program. * Develops and assists with Fort Bend County volunteer programs (including but not limited to: Medical Reserve Corp, Sheriff’s Office “You Are Not Alone”, Emergency Management Radio Operators Group, Community Support Team, Fort Bend Interfaith Ministries) in the deliverance of public awareness and planning programs, including presentations, printed materials, published articles, web-based information,
