What You'll Do.
Conduct interviews and evaluations of offenders
Pre-sentence investigations
telephone conversations and field visits with probationers
prepare and evaluate violation reports
Administer random drug and alcohol testing
Make appropriate referrals for assessment and treatment
Maintain and record documentation on each defendant’s
Prepare statistical data bi-monthly on all cases assigned
Ensures offenders receive court directed counseling
Maintains communication with other agencies
Supervises electronic monitored offenders
Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management

Work Here! * Conducts interviews and evaluations of offenders, visitations to jail, and pre-sentence investigations. * Conducts office, telephone conversations and field visits with probationers on scheduled basis, after work hours or on weekend. * Research, prepare and evaluate violation reports and make the appropriate modifications to the requested reports. * Administer random drug and alcohol testing through urinalysis and hair testing and make appropriate referrals for assessment and treatment. * Maintain and record documentation on each defendant’s case; prepare statistical data bi-monthly on all cases assigned. * Ensures offenders receive court directed counseling, screening and referrals as needed. * Maintains communication with other agencies involved in offender’s supervision plan. * Supervises electronic monitored offenders. * Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers. **MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or field approved by the State. * No previous job related experience required. * Computer and organizational skills; Ability to complete assigned projects in a timely manner. * Verbal and written communication skills; Interpe
