Eligible to work in Ireland, Experience of delivering educational programmes in schools and community settings in Ireland, Supporting volunteers from diverse backgrounds, Track record of developing successful partnerships, Capable and confident when communicating with stakeholders at all levels, Flexible and creative, Willingness to learn, Experience of developing and delivering education programmes in schools, Experience of coordinating voluntary, community or youth focused programmes, Proven ability to build and sustain successful partnerships and manage stakeholders, Experience of designing and delivering training and events for educators and volunteers, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Confidence presenting to a wide range of audiences, Able to produce clear, engaging content for reports, presentations, resources, blogs, marketing materials and social media, Experience of project management, Coordination across internal teams and with external partners, Highly organised and detail-oriented, Ability to manage processes effectively, Good data and analytical skills, Knowledge of Garda Vetting and safeguarding procedures for young people in Ireland, Capable and confident working from home, Ability to stay organised, connected, and effective as part of a remote team, Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Ireland, Willingness and ability to travel to our office in Cambridge UK, Overnight stays when required, A full clean driving licence, Undergo a background check to confirm suitability to work with children

Full Job Description
**Job Title:** Community Coordinator **Location:** Remote Ireland, with regular travel in Ireland and to Cambridge, UK **Salary:** €33,600 - €39,900 p.a. Full-time equivalent, dependent on experience **Basis:** Permanent. Full-time, part-time or flexible **Eligibility:** You must be eligible to work in Ireland **The role** We are looking to appoint a Community Coordinator to support the growth and engagement of the Code Club community in Ireland. Code Club is a global movement of free coding clubs where young people aged 9-16 years old develop the confidence to create with digital technologies. Code Clubs are run by teachers, educators, and volunteers from all walks of life and take place in schools and community settings, like libraries, museums, and maker spaces. Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, the Community Coordinator will be responsible for raising awareness of Code Club, establishing and maintaining relationships with partners, supporting schools and community venues to establish and run their clubs, and organising training and other events for the Irish community. You will bring fresh ideas to support the growth of the club network, along with a passion for digital making and inspiring our community of volunteers. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering educational programmes in schools and community settings in Ireland and supporting volunteers from diverse backgrounds. You will have a track record of developing successful partnerships, and be capable and confident when communicating with stakeholders at all levels. You will need to be flexible and creative, ready to try new approaches, evaluate, and iterate. You don’t need to be an expert in computing or digital making, but you do need to bring a passion for our mission and a willingness to learn.
