Minimum of twelve months cable telecommunications, broadband, or similar experience, Possess a valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record, Ability to comply with safety procedures and requirements, Ability to work while standing 50-70% of the time, Ability to climb ladders and operate aerial lifts up to 34 feet, Ability to use basic cable test equipment, Ability to use basic cable installation tools and hand tools, Lifts and carries loads of 70 lbs or more, Manipulates connectors, fasteners, use hand tools, Vision ability of: close vision, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus and differentiate colors, Works within manufacturer's rated weight capacity for all equipment, Ability to manipulate objects such as pens, keyboard and mouse, Live within 30 miles

What You'll Do.
Troubleshoot on analog and digital optics
Support connectivity to the node
Troubleshoot channelized and non-channelized optical signals
Use software and application-based tools for troubleshooting
Isolate and resolve fiber optic signal impairments
Inspect fiber optic equipment during troubleshooting
Perform construction maintenance duties
Splice aerial/underground coaxial cable and equipment
Restore cable plant to system splices
Activate new coaxial plant
Repair/replace damaged aerial/underground coaxial cable
repair and/or replace power supplies
Respond to damage scenarios
Initiate fixes for damage scenarios
Communicate and arrange appropriate fix agents
Resolve complex network issues
Track and repair leakage
Check in each job in a timely manner
Record all details of the work
Complete associated paperwork with each work order
Respond to and repair service interruptions

Troubleshooting efforts may include the use of software and application-based tools. * Able to isolate and resolve fiber optic signal impairments for Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) and Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) networks.
