Login to your McGill Workday account and apply to this posting using the Find Jobs report (type Find Jobs in the search bar).** **Position Summary:** Under the supervision of the Associate Director of the McGill Office of Sustainability (MOOS), the Communications Officer provides communications support to promote McGill’s climate and sustainability efforts within the university community and beyond. The communications support mostly focuses on the McGill Climate & Sustainability Strategy, the Sustainability Projects Fund (SPF), and various climate and sustainability initiatives on campus. The Communications Officer creates strategies and communications content to reach out to various internal (students, staff, faculty) and external audiences through websites, social media platforms, newsletters, videos, events, etc. in order to position McGill as a leader in sustainability and incorporate sustainability into McGill’s institutional identity. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Plan, develop and implement communication plans in support of MOOS’s priorities. * Write regular content for the McGill Reporter and What’s New newsletter. * Produce short videos and visuals to promote sustainability initiatives and SPF projects. * Manage the editorial upkeep and the day-to-day operations of MOOS’s social media efforts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), website, and newsletter targeted at McGill sustainability community. * Recruit and supervise communication interns, including job posting, interviewing, training, professional leadership and guidance, and performance monitoring. * Provide advice and assistance to the Associa
