What They're Looking For.
Must Have
degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, quality assurance, supplier management, or supplier auditing, working in engineering in any of the following disciplines: mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and/or quality disciplines that include technical supplier management, assessing / auditing the technical capabilities / performance of suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements and standards, leading corrective action initiatives using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies, executing process improvements discovered during RCCA and presenting data to support decision-making activities, ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. government-issued security clearance, U. S. citizenship
Nice to Have
Active U. S. government-issued Secret Security Clearance, Certification in Six Sigma, Certification in Lean methodologies, Certification in American Society for Quality (ASQ) programs such as CSSGB, CMQ/OE, CQE, CQPA, CQA, or CRE, Experience working with aerospace and defense industry standards, including AS9100, AS9145, AS9102, and ISO-9000, Experience in Department of Defense (DoD) product and process oversight, encompassing requirements definition, manufacturing, integration, testing, and final delivery, Hands-on experience with industry technical standards, including but not limited to ANSI, ASE, ASME, ASTM, IEEE, and similar frameworks, Experience with Guidance and Navigation Systems, including technologies such as Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs), accelerometers, gyroscopes, actuators, flight and navigation systems, GPS, and related components, Technically proficient engineer with excellent communication abilities, sense of professional presence, influential interpersonal skills, proven track record as a self-driven and effective technical contributor, Proven experience working collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing operations, and supply chain teams to achieve program objectives and deliver results
