We can meet the needs of our diverse clientele from start to finish through sales, design, fabrication, testing, and delivery. This expertise assures you of our ability to handle the largest and most complex packages quickly and efficiently. **Job Duties:** * Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with company growth, cost, and operational goals * Lead sourcing events (RFQs/RFPs), supplier selection, and contract negotiations * Manage supplier relationships, including performance (OTD, quality, cost) and capacity planning * Own supplier, pricing, and lead time accuracy in the ERP system to support quoting, planning, and purchasing execution * Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including long lead-time and single-source dependencies * Drive cost reduction initiatives, including value engineering and should-cost analysis * Partner with Engineering and Estimating to support quoting, BOM accuracy, and component standardization * Monitor market trends (steel, copper, electrical components, etc.) and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly * Support production ramp-ups by ensuring supplier readiness and capacity alignment * Implement and maintain supplier scorecards and continuous improvement
