This expertise assures you of our ability to handle the largest and most complex packages quickly and efficiently. **Job Duties:** * Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with company growth, cost, and operational goals * Lead sourcing events (RFQs/RFPs), supplier selection, and contract negotiations * Manage supplier relationships, including performance (OTD, quality, cost) and capacity planning * Own supplier, pricing, and lead time accuracy in the ERP system to support quoting, planning, and purchasing execution * Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including long lead-time and single-source dependencies * Drive cost reduction initiatives, including value engineering and should-cost analysis * Partner with Engineering and Estimating to support quoting, BOM accuracy, and component standardization * Monitor market trends (steel, copper, electrical components, etc.) and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly * Support production ramp-ups by ensuring supplier readiness and capacity alignment * Implement and maintain supplier scorecards and continuous improvement
