Eligibility Requirements

Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time, Ability to climb stairs and ladders as well as work at, Ability to work in confined spaces, Ability to work in a variety of temperatures and potential inclement weather, Ability to withstand extended periods of walking and standing, Ability to move manufacturing materials, products and equipment of 50 pounds or more, which requires bending and lifting, Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as is compliant with policies and procedures, Extensions of regular working hours are occasionally necessary to complete time-sensitive projects or to respond to emergencies, Continuous 24/7 plant operation with 12 Hour Straight Shift (Nights), as well as off-shift call-in requirements when needed, Regular exposure to a variety of temperatures and prevailing weather regular exposure to gases, vapors, dust, odors and flammable occasional exposure to areas with wet floors and high volume of noise, safety sensitive position, subject to random drug testing

What You'll Do.

efficient loading of dried distiller's grains

and wet cake into feed trucks and rail cars

use of mechanical equipment including operating locomotives

and software to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products while maintaining product safety

adhere to all relevant Company policies and government regulations

Load final products (DDGS

wet cake) into trucks and railcars to ensure timely delivery of all handled products

Unload grain trucks and railcars as needed to meet the plant’s daily production schedules

Inspect material handling equipment and perform routine adjustments and minor maintenance as needed

Diligently watch and inspect the quality and grading of corn and grains

Operate rolling stock equipment to meet department needs such as locomotives

Comply with Company safety rules and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

Report any equipment issues to Shift Leaders in a timely fashion

Complete tasks as assigned by Management or Shift Leads

Ensure all department areas are kept clean and free from safety hazards which require regular bending and occasional lifting

Actively participate in Shift/Team activities including complying with best practices

Accept/carry out/complete other duties as assigned by Commodities Manager
