What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BAS in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related engineering field, 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency, 10 years of professional experience in large infrastructure programs, 5 years in a management / leadership position, Working knowledge of commissioning industrial and commercial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general engineering systems, Experience of commissioning of major capital assets in a live operational and highly regulated environment, Project management experience, Sound understanding of planning, scheduling, cost, and risk management, Working knowledge of the design, construction, project management and maintenance of building, mechanical, industrial, and utility systems, Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, Ability to facilitate meeting / workshops with large groups of stakeholders, Technical capability in all project phases, Ability to solve complex problems, Experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships, Experience providing strategic level reporting
Nice to Have
Aviation experience preferred, Demonstrable experience in aviation preferred
What You'll Do.
Define commissioning strategy and plan
Successfully commission assets
Support the design process
Attend key design reviews
Review contractor’s testing and commissioning plan
Assure contractor’s testing and commissioning plan
Oversee testing and commissioning phase
Provide technical guidance
Provide subject matter expertise
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate commissioning activities
Conduct site observation surveys
Prepare field reports
Review processes and workflows
Document processes and workflows
Improve processes and workflows
Eliminate inefficiencies
Maximize team performance
Provide management level performance reporting
Provide executive level performance reporting
Highlight mitigation plans
Support career development of staff
