### **Job Description** ## Overview This role specifically focuses on the commissioning of **Baggage Handling Systems (BHS)** . We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world. This position is based at our Project Office in the west end of Toronto, Ontario requiring the candidate to be in office Monday to Friday weekly. ## **Your role** * Works with the contractor(s) to define the commissioning strategy and plan, for **Baggage Handling Systems** , ensuring successful commissioning of the assets delivered through the Program. * Responsibilities include supporting the design process including attendance at key design reviews, reviewing, and assuring the contractor’s testing and commissioning plan, overseeing the testing and commissioning phase of the program(s), providing technical guidance and subject matter expertise to team as needed. * Collaborates with various internal and external program stakeholders to successfully coordinate commissioning activities. * Conducts site observation surveys and prepares field reports on the status of projects and completion of projects with respect to compliance to the plans and specifications. * Reviews, documents, and improves processes and workflows to eliminate inefficiencies and maximize team performance. * Provides management and executive level performance reporting with respect to commissioning activities including highlighting key risks and mitigation plans. * Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the career development of staff. ## **About you** Minimum Requirements: * BA/BS in Degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related engineering field plus minimum 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Qualifications: * Typically, a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in large infrastructure programs in a commissioning role including 5 years in a management / lead
