Job Summary: The Commissioning Engineer I is responsible for supporting engineering teams and the execution of commissioning activities, including site inspections, equipment testing, and documentation. This role will be assisting all basic activities associated with the installation and commissioning of data center and substation equipment, such as protection and control systems, generators, UPS systems, and all other similar equipment for which commissioning work is typically required. The Commissioning Engineer I plays a key role in ensuring that electrical/mechanical systems are safe, efficient, and meet quality standards. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Commissioning Support Assist in the commissioning of electrical/mechanical systems and equipment, including power distribution systems, control systems, and backup power systems. Assist with conducting site observations and preparing field reports on the status of projects with respect to compliance. Implement the use of appropriate barriers to prevent unnecessary outages while working in substations or on any type of energized equipment.
