What They're Looking For.

Must Have

2+ years’ experience in similar capacity, Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices, Good communication and teamwork skills, Positive, proactive, and respectful attitude in a busy kitchen environment, Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School, Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed, Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously

Nice to Have

Culinary qualification (e. g. , NVQ Level 1 or 2) is a plus but not essential

What You'll Do.

Support the kitchen brigade in delivering exceptional dining experiences

Develop culinary skills

Contribute to high-quality food preparation

Uphold the standards and values of the Club

Ensure food is of the highest quality

Prepare food before service

Set up and stock kitchen stations

Plate food to company standards

Assist chefs across all kitchen sections in the preparation and production of dishes

Follow recipe guidelines

and presentation standards

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of food prep areas

Adhere strictly to hygiene

and allergen procedures

Support with receiving and storing deliveries

Ensure stock rotation and correct labelling according to HACCP standards

Learn and apply kitchen techniques

Ensure all mise en place is completed in line with service needs

Communicate effectively to the team

Take responsibility for allocated tasks and deliver them within agreed timelines and standards

Seek feedback and training from senior chefs

Assist with team meals

including prep and service

Ensure quality and dietary needs of team meals are met
