Reporting to the Head Chef or Sous Chef, the Commis Chef will assist in all kitchen operations, preparing ingredients and supporting the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes that meet our standards and guest expectations. **Requirements** **Key Responsibilities** * Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items according to menu specifications and quality standards. * Support the kitchen team by performing basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients. * Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations throughout the service period. * Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen environment. * Receive, store, and rotate food stock as directed, ensuring proper handling and inventory management. * Assist in setting up and closing down kitchen operations during shifts. * Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operations. **Skills and Qualifications** * Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques. * Previous experience in a kitchen environment or food service role is advantageous but not essential. * Willingness to learn, take initiativ
