Full Job Description
The Commercial Pricing Specialist develops and maintains pricing guardrails to support deal structuring and commercial decision-making across Aviation, Retail, BM, and C&I. The role ensures that pricing strategies reflect cost structures, market conditions, and profitability objectives. While Marketing makes final customer pricing decisions, this role provides insights, scenario analysis, and portfolio reviews to guide pricing outcomes. **Key Accountabilities** •Develop and maintain pricing guardrails for C&I, Retail, BM, and Aviation channels by applying a pricing model that incorporates base product prices, transport, logistics, credit, working capital, and other relevant costs. •Support deal structuring for term and spot markets, balancing revenue optimisation with market competitiveness. •Analyse price trends, cost structures, and market factors to inform proactive pricing strategies. •Evaluate customer potential, distribution costs, and profit-volume trade-offs to guide pricing decisions. •Conduct scenario analysis to assess pricing impacts and trade-offs, ensuring deals align with financial objectives. •Review the profitability of existing C&I deals and recommend adjustments to improve margins. •Develop and refine pricing models to support commercial decision-making across multiple sales channels. •Execute and monitor pricing strategies, tracking performance using key metrics and dashboards. •Ensure pricing consistency across the business and collaborate with Finance to align pricing with financial targets. •Support regulatory and competitive pricing assessments, providing insights into market positioning. **Professional Qualifications & Certifications** •Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, supply chain, or a related field. •Training in pricing analytics, financial modelling, or commercial strategy is an advantage. **Work Experience** •3+ years of experience in pricing, commercial analysis, or financial modelling in the oil, energy, or commoditi
