Our company is split into two business areas: Utility Infrastructure – Our team of Utility Infrastructure specialists design, build and maintain critical water, energy (gas), power and telecoms infrastructure, for the UK’s largest network owners and operators. Social Infrastructure - Our team of Social Infrastructure specialists revitalise homes and communities by carrying out a wide range of work, from retrofit to refurbishment, and maintenance. Commercial Manager – Social Infrastructure (Pre-Construction) 📍 South of England (Hybrid Working Available) The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our growing Social Infrastructure Pre-Construction team , supporting the development of complex, high-value projects across the South of England. This is a key strategic role at the front end of project delivery, where you will shape commercial strategy, manage risk, and influence project viability across a diverse portfolio including healthcare, education, housing, and public sector infrastructure schemes. You will work collaboratively with bid, design, operational and client teams to ensure commercially robust, competitive, and deliverable proposals. Key Responsibilities * Lead the commercial input into pre-construction activities , including bids, tenders, and early contractor involvement (ECI) engagements * Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial modelling for complex schemes * Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities at early stages * Provide strategic commercial advice to internal stakeholders and clients * Support procurement strategy development and supply chain engagement * Prepare and revie
