What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree qualified in Construction Law, Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline, 10 years experience delivering commercial function on large-scale building or infrastructure projects, Deep understanding of construction contracts (AS, GC21, or equivalent) and relevant legislation, Skilled in procurement, tendering, subcontractor management, and contract negotiation, Experienced in managing project budgets, cash flow, and financial reporting from pre-contract to final account, Capable of identifying, assessing, and mitigating commercial risk across design and delivery phases, Technically competent with systems such as Jobpac, Aconex, and Microsoft Excel, Communication and leadership skills with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach

Oversee head contract administration
Oversee progress claims
Manage procurement strategy
Manage procurement execution
Support design development
Support project planning
Monitor project costs
Maintain rolling forecasts
Produce monthly financial reports
Review subcontractor claims
Review subcontractor variations
Ensure compliance and cost alignment
Ensure accurate commercial documentation
Maintain commercial records
Maintain audit trails
Provide commercial guidance
Mentor Contracts Administrators
Support Contracts Administrators
Represent DCOH in negotiations
Represent DCOH in formal communications
