Outside sales role, Travel to CMS manufacturer locations, Required to work in an office environment and frequently in the field, Ability to work outside of normal business hours as required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years account management and leadership or equivalent experience, HVAC, Mechanical & Plumbing Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience, Ability to prioritize, multi-task, deal with ambiguity and manage high volume projects, PC skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
What You'll Do.
Sell commercial and industrial Hydronics equipment
Build and manage customer relationships
Build and manage manufacturer relationships
Determine project needs and requirements
present and communicate bids
Negotiate value and close the sale
Influence system design and solutions
and cost-benefit analysis
Understand customer's business
Promote CMS's hydronics line card
Stay informed on manufacturer product updates
Maintain understanding of building codes
Consult with clients to apply CMS equipment
Address customer's operational objectives
Solicit support from CMS team
Communicate effectively with CMS team
Assist in sales team development
Recruit and mentor sales team members
Keep management informed of progress
Take ownership of client relationships
Educate clients on systems
Ensure data accuracy in CRM systems
Support accounts receivable collection process
Work outside normal business hours
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Build partnering relationships with customers and manufacturers; Speaks the customer's language; Solicits support from and communicates effectively with the entire CMS team, including service, parts, sales and inside sales support staff; Assist in the development of the sales team, including recruiting and mentorship of other sales team members; Keeps management informed of progress and account status; Knows when to call for assistance from upper management
