What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or GED required, Universal CFC Certification required, At least 1 year of HVAC experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, Refrigeration experience required, Must complete OSHA 10 certification within 6 months of hire, Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical documents, commitment to safety and protecting self and others, Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PDF), Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and climb stairs and ladders, Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
What You'll Do.
and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
Monitor system performance using building automation systems (BASMS) and make adjustments as needed
Partner with BMS technicians to troubleshoot and correct system settings
Support the Chief or Supervisor with overseeing subcontractors when required
Review work orders and estimate labor
Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating efficiently
Respond to emergency service calls and escalate issues when necessary
Complete and maintain accurate repair and maintenance documentation
Perform general building maintenance such as basic painting
and electrical repairs
Respond to internal service calls and work tickets from the operations team
Communicate clearly with team members and internal customers
Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Assist with training and mentoring other team members as needed
