What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years’ experience working as a Service Technician in a commercial environment, Valid driver’s license with good driving record, Current HVAC certification, OSHA 10 Training, Ability to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing/working at elevated heights, etc., Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, Ability to balance requirements of multiple and varied duties, Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, Ability to write correspondence, Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs, Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations, Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks, Ability to travel substantially within operational region, Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required, Must be able to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Nice to Have
EPA Certification, HVAC Journeyman license, Master license
What You'll Do.
and support BMS on equipment
Perform factory start-up
warranty service on Data Center equipment and systems
Performs electrical and mechanical inspections on equipment to ensure peak performance
Suggest additional services that are beneficial to customer
Submits required paperwork to Data Mission Critical Administrator in a timely manner
Must work in a safe manner daily and ensure that all safety measures are always taken
Perform PM tasks of the dedicated equipment on site
