What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Full driving license, Valid domestic & commercial gas qualifications, Computer literate (Microsoft Office), Knowledge of current health & safety practices
Nice to Have
F-Gas certification & experience, Fault finding and maintenance experience in heating systems including BMS, Experience with air handling & fan coil units, First aid trained, Valid qualifications in air conditioning, refrigeration, and catering equipment, 18th edition electrical certification and experience
What You'll Do.
Carry out statutory and planned maintenance for commercial
Respond to reactive tasks allocated by Customer Care
Ensure properties maintained to high standard
Identify and report/repair defects and maintenance requirements
Liaise with external contractors
Assist with compiling information for maintenance and repair
Ensure accurate and competitive pricing
Communicate information to client

Participate in on-call rota to address emergency callouts
Provide reliable and timely responses to urgent issues

Full Job Description
Location: This role will be based primarily in the West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire region with travel required to get to all site locations. Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4:00pm Salary: £20.59-£22.34 dependant on experience Bonus opportunity: Up to £2,400 per annum, measurement based on company and personal performance **Role Overview** The Commercial Gas Engineer will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive gas, plumbing, and mechanical tasks across the Sewell Facilities Management property portfolio. This includes general maintenance and repairs of boilers, heating systems, water heaters, DHW systems, controls, and associated equipment. The role will require mobile working from different sites across the North of England and Lincolnshire and may require to part in the out of hours on-call rota.
