What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, 3+ years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or financial analysis, Proven experience partnering cross-functionally with Operations and Development teams, financial analysis and modelling skills, Commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into operational insights, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, High attention to detail and governance discipline, Advanced Excel and financial reporting capabilities, Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts, Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

MBA and/or CFA designation (or progress toward CFA) considered an asset, Experience supporting multi-site operations, retail, hospitality, or franchise environments preferred, Exposure to lending, credit analysis, or banking relationships is an asset

What You'll Do.

Monitor cash flow and financial performance

Identify financial risks and support recovery plans

Track progress against recovery milestones

Support repayment plans for outstanding debts

Provide regular financial risk reporting

Support relationships with banking partners

Assist franchisees in navigating financing options

Maintain and update franchisee financing resources

Administer financial assessments within gate process

Maintain gate tracking documentation

Partner with Franchise Development and Legal teams

Review financial submissions from prospective franchisees

Assess financial viability

Prepare recommendation reports

Communicate financial expectations and requirements

Conduct financial reviews for franchisees

Provide recommendations and escalate financial concerns

Partner with Operations teams to review underperforming locations

Provide financial insights and analysis

Follow up on agreed actions and track financial outcomes
