What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of experience in engine maintenance and troubleshooting experience in the commercial aviation industry at the flight-line (A1 line & base maintenance), Advanced degree and 3 years of experience as listed above
Nice to Have
Experience delivering presentations to all levels of leadership, Understand the voice of the customer on operational business needs supported via engine maintenance training, Customize standard training to meet customer needs, Human Factors and foreign object damage expertise and experience a plus, Engine Maintenance knowledge and experience of P&W engine products to include the PW2000, PW4000, V2500, PW1100G-JM, PW1400G-JM, PW1500G and PW1900G is highly desired
What You'll Do.
Deliver Commercial Engine maintenance training
Deliver Mature Commercial Engine (MCE) Programs
Deliver PW1000G Geared Turbo Fan (GTF) Engine Programs
Provide training at Customer Training Center (CTC)
Provide virtual training
Provide on-site training at customer worldwide locations
Instruct on engine specific Familiarization
Instruct on Line & Base Maintenance
Instruct on Troubleshooting
Instruct on Jet Engine Fundamentals
Instruct on Borescope
Instruct on Engine Change
Instruct on human factors type training
Support P&W CTC Commercial Engine Training Team
Serve as maintenance instructor
Serve as subject matter expert (SME)
Design courseware in accordance with P&W CTC Instructional
Evaluate course material for content and accuracy
Record quality escapes to support P&W quality system
Field customer requests
Direct customers to appropriate P&W support personnel
Participate in cross functional teams
Lead cross functional teams
Focus on continuous improvement of training operation
Focus on company sponsored business initiatives
Focus on broadening training portfolio
