## Description Electrician (Multi-Level Role) Location: Virginia Beach, VA Job Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire Schedule: 2nd Shift Pay: Starting at $27.00/hour or higher depending on experience About the Role An established commercial services team is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support installation, repair, and maintenance operations on active commercial job sites throughout the Virginia Beach area. This position is primarily field-based and requires someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced working in fast-paced construction or service environments. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, experience interpreting electrical plans, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. ## Core Functions Electrical Installation & Service Install, modify, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems and associated equipment Diagnose electrical malfunctions and implement effective corrective actions Perform infrastructure upgrades, equipment replacements, and system improvements Plan and install conduit systems using both manual and powered bending equipment Support electrical layouts and installation methods designed for long-term system reliability Technical Interpretation & Documentation Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications Utilize industry-standard tools and equipment including cable pullers, knockout sets, threaders, drills, and testing devices Complete service documentation, inspection records, work orders, and project reports accurately and on time Verify completed work meets project specifications and applicable code requirements Field Operations & Project Support Travel between local job sites to support installation and service activities Work safely from ladders, aerial lifts, scaffolding, and elevated work areas when required Maintain organized work areas and protect equipment, materials, and job site conditions M
