Must Have

## Description As our next Commercial Counsel, you won’t just be reviewing contracts—you’ll be a key architect of the legal framework that powers ActiveCampaign’s global growth. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will serve as a strategic partner to the business, navigating complex transactions and safeguarding our interests across a diverse landscape of customers, vendors, and strategic partners. This isn't a role for a legal spectator; it’s for a proactive builder. You will lead the charge in refining our contractual workflows, leveraging legal operations to transform "redlines" into streamlined, automated processes that enable the company to move at the speed of SaaS. This is your opportunity to see your legal expertise directly influence the trajectory of a high-growth technology leader. ## On a typical day, you might Assist the General Counsel, the legal department, and senior management with a variety of legal issues related to the ActiveCampaign family of businesses. Draft, negotiate, and review various contracts, including customer and vendor contracts, strategic partnership agreements, NDAs, master services agreements, and license agreements, among others. Serve as legal advisor to various internal departments and committees as requested. Assist with the maintenance and oversight of relationships with external counsel as required. Work closely with revenue operations and legal operations teams to improve and refine contractual workflows for optimal efficiency, automating processes where applicable to streamline and improve existing contract workflows. Partner with company leaders to identify practical and legal risk. ## The ideal candidate will bring 4-year college degree and a Juris Doctorate degree.
