Role Purpose The Commercial Bid Support Officer supports the development of winning bids by preparing accurate cost estimates, analysing commercial data, and collaborating closely with technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical capabilities, a curious mindset, and a desire to grow within a global organisation. This role is best suited to someone with 1-3 years experience post university. Key Responsibilities * Develop accurate cost estimates to support bids, tenders, and proposals. * Analyse historical data, supplier quotes, and internal inputs to validate assumptions and improve estimate accuracy. * Build, maintain, and optimise complex Excel models to support pricing and scenario analysis. * Work collaboratively with bid managers, sales teams, and subject matter experts to gather required commercial and technical information. * Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools, processes, and templates. * Support risk assessments and commercial evaluations during bid development.
