What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Experience of carrying a quota at a SaaS company in the data platform, or cloud-based solution environments, Experience in calling on companies in the commercial segment up to 1,000 employees, A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in high-growth environments, Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders, Self-starter attitude with a high level of drive and accountability, able to build and drive your pipeline and expand our footprint in customers, Proficiency in CRM (eg. Salesforce), sales automation tools (eg. Apollo), Appetite for innovation in redefining sales processes leveraging AI tools (eg. Claude) and experimenting with data integrations and automations with the rest of the commercial sales team
Nice to Have
Experience selling to data teams, developers, or technical users, Familiarity with data orchestration, analytics, or Airflow-related technologies, Prior success in a startup or fast-growth environment
What You'll Do.
Drive new business within the commercial segment
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
Own the full sales cycle from outreach to close
Build relationships across book of business
Prospect strategically
and engage new customers through outbound and inbound channels
Identify upsell / expansion opportunities with existing customers
Deliver engaging demonstrations
Craft tailored proposals
Partner with marketing
Keep current on data trends and the competitive landscape
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales engineering, and product teams; Teammates share insights; Collaborate with the rest of the commercial sales team on AI tools and data integrations
