We are looking for a hands-on **Commerce Architect** to design and oversee our highly scalable e-commerce infrastructure on AWS. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements (merchandising, checkout, inventory) and cloud-native technical solutions. You will own the architectural roadmap for our commerce platform, ensuring high availability, security (PCI-DSS), and performance during peak traffic events. ### Key Responsibilities: * **Architectural Strategy:** Design and maintain a cloud-native architecture using **AWS services** (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS, CloudFront) to support high-volume transaction processing. * **Commerce Integration:** Lead the architectural design for integrating our commerce engine with third-party systems, including ERPs, PIMs, OMS (Order Management), and Payment Gateways (Stripe/Adyen/PayPal). * **Performance & Scalability:** Architect solutions for "bursty" traffic (e.g., product drops, holiday sales), utilizing auto-scaling, caching strategies (Redis/ElastiCache), and CDNs. * **Security & Compliance:** Ensure all architecture complies with *
