Must Have
high school diploma or GED required
Nice to Have
1–3 years of experience in security, emergency management, dispatching, public safety, or similar fields preferred, ICS 100 and ICS 700 preferred
What You'll Do.
support 24/7 emergency operations
and security response for all Westgate properties nationwide
monitor CCTV and access control systems
manage real-time communications
coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders
provide situation updates to senior leadership
and recovery for incidents nationwide
maintain situational awareness
operate within Westgate’s Emergency Management protocols
and surveillance platforms for all Westgate resort properties
Serve as the communication lead between emergency responders and Senior Leadership nationwide
Maintain focus while monitoring multiple video feeds and information sources
Prepare detailed incident reports for management after events or critical situations
Support Emergency Management objectives with leadership
and resort management
Assist nationwide teams with planning
and preparedness processes
Represent Westgate in city
or state Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) during activations
Deliver accurate updates during emergency and non-emergency events from report to resolution
Maintain precise communication
Research past incidents and retrieve CCTV footage as needed
Monitor news and intelligence sources for situational awareness across all resort locations
Use Emergency Notification Systems to issue alerts and identify potential risks
Support or coordinate responses involving police
Assist Westgate Security teams at the direction of Emergency Management leadership
Complete required FEMA/ICS and security command certifications
Perform additional duties related to emergency communications

Westgate Resorts is seeking a full-time, on-site Emergency Management Command Center Security Officer in Orlando, FL to support 24/7 emergency operations, safety, and security response for all Westgate properties nationwide. In this critical role, you will monitor CCTV and access control systems, manage real-time communications, coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders, and provide situation updates to senior leadership. You’ll help ensure preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery for incidents nationwide while maintaining situational awareness and operating within Westgate’s Emergency Management protocols. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in emergency operations, security dispatch, public safety, or command center environments. Success requires focus, teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to remain calm during high‑pressure events. The individual must possess and adhere to the following core values: Integrity, Passion, Work Ethic. * Schedule: 6pm - 2am EST * Monitor CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and surveillance platforms for all Westgate resort properties. * Serve as the communication lead between emergency responders and Senior Leadership nationwide.
