Must Have
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience, Ability to read and interpret safety rules, production blend orders, color plaque formulas, Extrusion schedule, color graphs, and instructions from supervisor, Ability to write production and post blend orders, as well as cost sheets, Ability to communicate with departmental and interdepartmental operators, supervisors, and plant management, Ability to perform intermediate addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division functions, Ability to accurately enter data in SAP, Lift Truck License

What You'll Do.
Match custom colors for new business needs
Take responsibility for color master batch production
Satisfy demands of the Extrusion department
Manufacture concentrate accurately and in a timely manner
Perform color concentrate (SPD) quality assurance
Develop custom color products
Interpret Color Spectrophotometer results
Create Color matching formulation
Create Color adjustment formulations
Oversee production and lab quality control
Provide lab training and education of operators
Problem solve using WCM methodology
Develop and maintain formulations
Manage lab sampling procedures
Assist department leader with special projects
Assist compound supervisor with special projects
Assist quality supervisor with special projects
Assist with Root Cause Analysis
Fill the role of the technical coordinator
Fill the role of operator positions
Act as a fill-in for Color Compounding Leader
Perform other duties as instructed by Supervisor
