Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Lead and develop a global collections team while ensuring strong performance, accountability, and professional growth. You will also step into complex cases and drive process improvements across the function. Lead, coach, and develop a team of Collections Specialists, setting clear expectations and fostering a high-performance culture Act as a player-coach by directly managing escalated, high-risk, or complex customer accounts when needed Monitor aging reports, collection KPIs, and cash flow metrics to guide team priorities and actions Oversee payment recovery efforts, including negotiations, payment plans, and resolution of credit balances Ensure accurate month-end close support, audit readiness, and adherence to internal controls and compliance standards Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Billing, and Customer Success to resolve payment barriers and improve outcomes Identify trends, root causes, and systemic issues impacting collections performance and recommend improvements Build dashboards, reporting tools, and scalable processes to improve visibility and efficiency Requirements Experienced collections leader with strong analytical, communication, and coaching skills, capable of managing both people and complex financial workflows in a fast-moving environment. 5+ years of B2B collections or accounts receivable experience with direct account management responsibilities 2+ years of people management experience, including leading distributed or global teams Strong understanding of collections processes, AR operations, and cash application workflows Proven ability to lead coaching, performance management, and team development initiatives Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, risks, and root causes in financial data Experience working with ERP, collections, and reporting systems Ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, Sales, Cus
