What You'll Do.

Maintain AR Aging ownership

Make inbound and outbound collection calls

Serve as primary point of contact for clients

Build professional relationships with clients

Drive improvement in AR aging

Resolve account disputes

Assist with payment reconciliation

Follow up on unapplied cash

Assist clients in navigating billing portal

Identify root causes of AR issues

Make recommendations for AR improvement

Negotiate payment plans

Prioritize proactive customer communications

Minimize losses from bad debt

Notify management of financial risk

Make recommendations for credit hold

Make recommendations for bad debt write offs

Assist with cash flow forecasting

Maintain knowledge of laws

Maintain accurate account notes

Maintain collection activity logs

Maintain records for auditing

Assist with yearly audits

Complete additional projects

In order to be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to work independently. The Collections Specialist will be expected to act as a liaison between our customers and the organization in a way that supports our mission to deliver an IT experience that clients love, making someone with a combination of collections and customer service experience an ideal candidate.
