What You'll Do.
Assist with selection of pedigree birds
scan wing band number
Audit market birds for wing bands
Monitor ventilation and light
Identify coop birds are assigned to
Maintain clean foot pans
Sanitize selection breakroom and equipment
Observe condition of farm structures
Recommend needed maintenance and repairs
Assist with setting up for selection
Load empty coops into house
Place catch frames in pens
Hang lights for better visual
Set up scales and scanner
Ensure dead birds are disposed of properly
Assist with moving birds
Wash/disinfect properly euthanize weak/ill birds
